MERN Stack Roadmap 2026: From Beginner to Hireable in 6 Months

MERN — MongoDB, Express, React, Node — is still the fastest stack to go from zero to hireable full-stack developer in India. Here is the exact 6-month roadmap we follow inside the Geonixa MERN program.

Months 1–2: JavaScript, React & UI

Modern JavaScript (ES2024), TypeScript basics, React 19 with hooks and Suspense, Tailwind CSS, and component-driven UI. Build two small apps and push them to GitHub.

Months 3–4: Backend, databases & auth

Node.js with Express, REST and tRPC, MongoDB with Mongoose, JWT authentication, rate limiting, and basic security. Your capstone backend is reviewed by mentors inside the Geonixa LMS.

Months 5–6: Deployment, projects & interviews

CI/CD, deployment on AWS or Vercel, a full capstone project, a polished portfolio site, mock interviews, and your verifiable internship certificate at verify.geonixa.com. Pair this with our industry training guide.
